Video and live action, 27:26, colour, sound, 2014

Borrowing from the 1991 road movie Thelma & Louise, We Can See It From Here is a hybrid performance of video and physical theatre. Developed in residency at Ovalhouse, London.

With Louise, Thelma is slipping into a fantasy world where their intense and obsessive friendship can play out. Racing down a road already laid out for her, it becomes clear that Thelma must violently play out her part.

This work explores the dramatic interdependency of human relationships and how we define ourselves within them.
